SAN DIEGO CA TOURIST INFORMATION

San Diego Tourist Office - At the airport if you want any information on San Diego call to Information Booths in the Baggage Reclaim areas of Termiinal 1 and Terminal 2. These offices are staffed by Volunteers and they can give you any info about events, transport and so on. The phone numbers are Terminal 1 - 619.231.7361 and Terminal 2 - 619.231.5230.

Your next stop for info should be one of the Visitor offices in San Diego. You will be glad you took the time to stop at the tourist center because there is a wealth of information on the city and its great attractions, plus leaflets and pamphlets and schedules of events. Just ask them what fun things are happening in the city when you’re going to be there. There are lots of brochures with great maps for anything you might want to see. If you have questions on hotels or the latest construction in the area they will know this too.

There are even coupons and lots of discounts you can find out about just for stopping in. So make the tourist center one of your first stops in San Diego. Or you can get the Fabulous Four Combo Ticket which includes one day admission to San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Legoland California & SeaWorld Adventure Park San Diego. Tickets are valid any day, any time and cost $160 for an adult. Consecutive visits are not required and they have a long validity period.

You can also get a Go San Diego Card. This is time limited ie you can get a 1 day or a 3 day ticket or whatever. It gives you unlimited Admission at over 5 of the better San Diego attractions, a guide book, discount at restaurants etc and it costs about $100 for a three days adult ticket.

Let us say that anytime is a great time to visit and the city is famous for its great all year round weather. The weather is always mild and it usually is sunny. That’s why so many people love to live in and Visit San Diego. There are a few months where it rains, though. Those are the months of November through February. In the months of March, April and May are wonderful months to visit San Diego. The flowers are in full bloom and temperatures are mild.

The months of August and September are the hottest months so bring your beach gear and plenty of lightweight clothing. Plan on some great days for sightseeing and swimming, too. San Diego Weather is just a treat and we know you’ll love visiting this city. So summer, spring, winter or fall, be prepared to enjoy yourself.
