Transportation to and from the airport
includes a variety of rental car agencies for your convenience.
Bus service and shuttle vans are also available and you can
find them in Terminals 1 and 2 of the airport. If you want
to travel in style, why not a limo. Limousines have to be
prebooked so if this is your choice of travel get in your
reservation.
Amtrak Intercity trains link to Los Angeles
and Orange Counties, as well as downtown San Diego and up
to Oceanside. There is alaso the Flyer Route No 992 bus that
goes to and from the centre of San Diego and leaves also from
Terminals 1 and 2 plus the Commuter Terminal.
You can pick up Car Rentals at the airport
and all the major companies and agencies can arrange this.
You can also hire a car at the the Airport desks but it is
probably better to make car hire reservations before your
trip so that everything is in place and this you can easily
do online.
